Roberta Goss

Managing Director

Ms. Goss is responsible for constructing and managing portfolios of leveraged loans, high yield bonds, and other credit-based securities for the Credit Investments team. She has over 29 years of investment experience in leveraged finance with roles in research and portfolio management. Prior to joining DFG, Ms. Goss was a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Northwoods Capital Management, a long-short fund that invested across the capital structure. She spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Managing Director and Co-Head of the high yield and bank loan businesses in the asset management division. In this role she led a team of 20 investment professionals and managed approximately $20 billion in global investments across a range of mutual funds, CLOs, closed-end funds, and managed accounts. Before joining the asset management division, Ms. Goss was a senior analyst in the securities division covering high yield media and telecommunications companies.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Goss worked in London as a high yield research analyst for Saudi International Bank (an affiliate of JP Morgan).
Ms. Goss completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Mount Allison University in Canada.
